Background

A documentary project capturing the closure of Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium, once one of the UK’s best-known racing tracks. Through portraits, observation and oral histories, the work records the people, rituals and spaces surrounding the final months of the stadium’s life.

Outcomes

The project resulted in exhibitions at Vestry House Museum and The Lighthouse in Wolverhampton, alongside the photobook Last Days at the Dogs. The work combined photography, sound recordings and archival material to document the cultural life of the stadium and its community.
